I've been very lax on running this theme's challenge over the last 5 weeks. Unfortunately, school has been a little crazy. In any case, I intend to do at least some very quick sketches to make up for the weeks that I have missed!

Don't forget! If you upload your submissions into scraps, let me know so I can be sure to check the "Watch scraps" option. Also, if you see a submission you have made that is NOT on my journal, I have not seen it and may have accidentally deleted it, please let me know.

I also want to add a section in the journal for tips. If anyone has any, let me know and I'll credit you in my journal and include the tip for all of us.

Remember, part of the way this works is not only forcing yourself to do submissions but to also CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITIQUING the others involved in the project!

100 Themes Challenge Rules Are as Follows:

RULE 1: Must upload at least one theme per week. You are welcome to do more if you see fit.

RULE 2 : You MUST upload the picture you have drawn for the theme. It doesn't matter if it's your best work or if it's not finished, upload it now and move it to scraps later. Or upload it now and post a finished version later.

RULE 3: Style and material is up to you! However, I recommend you switch it up to get more practice. (Note: My own personal rule dictates I can NOT make them all into webcomics.)

RULE 4: You must create NEW ARTWORK for each theme. You may NOT use old work that just so "happens" to fit into your theme.

RULE 5: New participants may join any time they like! Just send a note or comment below!

Anyone who wants to do it with me, starting March 1st, send me a note or comment and we'll BUG THE HELL out of each other until it's fucking done.


I really need some help getting motivated to do this. I feel like my art is slipping away and I really need to pick it up if I'm gonna make it in the game industry in less than 3 years. So please... please guys... if you see me falling behind, rip me a new one. I really need this. I know some of you guys do too, and you can feel it happening. If you've done this before, great! If you haven't, great! Let's motivate each other guys, because we're ARTISTS, we never do anything on our own.
